6:30a-7a Orienteering Tutorial
7a sharp Solo ROGAINE style competition begins
Teams and "follow-the-leader" are accepted but
discouraged
The goal is to find as many of the 25 CPs within 3 hours
10a-noon will be an instructional session to discuss routes and
find missing CPs
1:10,000 orienteering maps with marked CPs will be provided
Standard orienteering symbols will be used for clues

Cost is $5 for members and $7 for non-members
Permitted transportation includes skis, snowshoes, or appropriate
winter footwear
Mandatory Gear: 1 liter water, whistle, compass, basic 1st aid
kit,
appropriate winter clothing, emergency space blanket, permanent
marker, plastic map case, headlamp, hat or balaclava, trail
running shoes, wool socks
